ABOUT

About Spartans Rugby Club: Building Strength, Unity, and Passion Since 2017

Founded in 2017, Spartans Rugby Club has swiftly established itself as a prominent presence in the rugby community. With a strong focus on developing athletes both on and off the field, our club has cultivated a reputation for excellence, teamwork, and commitment to the sport of rugby.

At Spartans, we compete in Union rugby, a dynamic and strategic version of the game that emphasizes discipline, athleticism, and cohesion. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, we offer an inclusive environment where every individual is encouraged to grow, improve, and contribute to the collective success of the team.

how it all started

Back in the early 2000s who would have known that Joe a prop and Jaclyn a lock would have met on the rugby pitch. They fell in love while playing the sport they loved. They were married and created their family. One day their son asked them to start rugby for him and his junior high friends. That is in 2017 with 12 U14 boys. Now their rugby family has grown to incorporate all teams U8 to adults, men and women.
